Diagnosis, Consultation & Testing:

Services to Examine and Understand your needs and wants

Comprehensive Oral Diagnosis and Treatment Planning

New Patients with multiple needs require comprehensive diagnosis and consultation. Your first visit will be for the diagnosis. We will listen to your needs and desires. We will collect appropriate diagnostic data, that may consist of clinical charting including an oral cancer screening, any necessary x-rays, digital Intraoral Camera images and other diagnostic tests as necessary.

A seperate treatment plan consultation visit will be provided at no charge. During this visit, the diagnostic data collected will be reviewed and all treatment options available for your case will be presented. A discussion of the benefits, risks, alternatives and consequences of each option will be provided as well.

Emergency Care

Patients in pain or that have urgent and acute problems will be seen the same day when feasible. A limited oral exam, necessary x-rays and appropriate diagnostic tests will be performed. A treatment plan consultation to address the emergency will lead to same day treatment when appropriate.

Consultation

Consultations are available for patients who wish to meet Dr. Patel or the staff, tour the facility and/or preview our technology and treatments in person. We can also discus your diagnosis and treatment needs.

Medical history reviews: To understand how your Medical health affects your dental health and how your dental health affects your medical health.
Oral Cancer Screenings:

Brush Biopsy (Oral CDx)

Dental Exam with Charting: To diagnose tooth decay, fractures and cosmetic concerns.
Periodontal Exam with charting: to diagnose Gum disease

X-rays:

To confirm and evaluate the extent of disease present.

Pulp Vitality Tests:

To diagnose pain causing teeth and root canal pain

Digital Imaging:

To magnify and evaluate color, size, shape and textures of teeth and tissues to improve diagnosis.

Joint Vibration Analysis with Jaw Tracker:

Digital Test to functionally diagnose TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) disorders.

T-scan Occlusal Analysis:

Digital test to analyze bite problems digitally by accurately measuring time and force vectors when teeth meet.

EMG:

Digital Electromyography to diagnose and treat patients with Myofascial pain and headaches

T-Scan with EMG:

Comprehensive digital test to diagnose and treat patients with Myofascial pain and headaches due to bite problems.
