Dr. Sangiv I. Patel is an experienced general dentist providing a full range of general, surgical, periodontal, endodontic, implant, cosmetic, and restorative dental care. He has been dedicated to improving the health, aesthetic quality, and functionality of his patients’ lives throughout his longstanding career. With 30 years of clinical experience in the field of dentistry, Dr. Patel has set himself apart from his colleagues with his devotion to exploring state-of-the-art technology to further enhance the experience and effectiveness of each patient's dental visit. Along with his skilled team, he has been serving the greater Melbourne, FL area at his self-titled dental practice, Sangiv I. Patel, D.D.S., PA. since 1995. Dr. Patel focuses on an abundance of innovative, evidenced based, predictable dental solutions designed to create longevity. This includes the beauty of a healthy smile and functional stability of the teeth, gums, TMJ’s and the muscles that support and provide function to a healthy mouth. Initially graduating from the Loyola University of Chicago as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 1989, Dr. Patel continued to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery four years later in 1993. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from his university on both occasions. Dr. Patel earned his Mastership in Dental Biometrics in 2009 from BioResearch, Inc. and an Associate Fellowship in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry in 2011.

Dr. Patel is widely known for his use of highly advanced, new age technology, which he utilizes to provide a complete range of services from digital diagnostics to digital restorations. He has exhibited a career-long dedication to learning and leveraging technologies that are revolutionizing modern dentistry. Technologies, such as digital x-rays, are utilized by Dr. Patel for the purpose precision diagnosis. Intraoral cameras are used during dental examinations, providing a more comprehensive view of one’s mouth and allows our patients to be involved in their own dental care. Other technologies Dr. Patel has at his disposal, such as the T-Scan digital bite analysis, Joint Vibration Analysis (JVA), Electromyography, Computerized decay detection, 3D cone beam computed tomography, both in-office and at-home teeth whitening with ZOOM and laser, Water-lase Laser Dentistry as well as the EPIC diode laser.

Dr. Patel’s passion for the best in dentistry is evidenced as a published author. He is a national and international lecturer, and currently serves as CE provider, Instructor and Beta tester for BioResearch, Inc. and TekScan. He has worked with Carestream the manufacturers Cone Beam CT. He has also served as a CE provider, Beta Tester and In-Office trainer for CEREC by Sirona.
Dr. Patel Also serves as a Tatum Mentor and has served as Faculty at The Advanced Dental Implant Institute in Puerto Rico (ADII). The ADII is a credentialed AAID Maxi-Course. He has served as faculty at Loyola University of Chicago- School of Dentistry and Eastern Florida State College (formerly, Brevard Community College). He is among first 30 clinicians worldwide to have received a Mastership in Dental Biometrics.

Dr. Patel is currently an officer for the Southern district of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID). In this role, he works to provide implant dentistry educational training and tools through scientific programs for other professionals in his district. Through comprehensive dental implant education, the AAID and their officers are dedicated to providing convenient training for implant dental care providers.

Dr. Patel’s Webinars have been broadcast nationally as well as India, UAE, Philippines & Malaysia. He gladly shares his knowledge patients, colleagues, students, manufacturers and distributors.
